First Class experience from start to finish. Excellent, clean and comfortable rooms with espresso machine, fridge and big LCD TV. Large rooms and bathroom with upscale amenities. Walk in Closet. Balcony with upscale furniture for coffee in the morning. All the features you would expect in a 5 star hotel on extensive and lush grounds. We will be back!

We had a mini suite in the Gold Level, that comes with free internet and continental breakfast. The room was nice and spacious. We had a balcony but the view was blocked by trees. There are pools everywhere, the main one has tubes to float around and was well heated. There is a fishing pond(catch and release). There are many fountains, a garden, and fire pits with comfy chairs all over the place. It was pricey but nice for special occasion. Room service was good and has a night owl menu and 24 hr desserts. There are many restaurants and things to do very close to the hotel as well.

The Fairmont was an impressive hotel, though it's fairly far away from the airport. It had 3 large pools, a fishing pond (all poles and tackle provided), a decent gym, and great food. It's a large facility, I had to use my map to find my room. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. The only problem was finding a lot of bogus charges on my final bill. I'm glad I didn't do a quick check-out. I didn't have a vehicle, but they had charged two nights of parking on my bill and mail service on a day I had a do not disturb sign on my room. They did fix it quickly - after I told them.

The resort is really quite stunning. Fountains, citrus groves, gorgeous pools, etc. However, beware if you are staying to relax and lounge around at the pools. The resort apparently allows outside groups who are not staying there to pay to use the pools. On the days we were there, a large group of people (same group every time) came sauntering in to the pool area carrying ice chests full of Budweiser, and proceeded to blast Lynrd Skynrd from their boom box. Even the servers were annoyed and told us that they were not guests of the hotel, but they said there was nothing they could do. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Lynyrd Skynyrd per se, but come on...when I'm spending that much money at this resort, I expect a little more tranquility. For that reason, I don't think I'll stay there again.

If you enjoy a hotel with absolutely no views this is the hotel for you. It's as if you are in New Jersey on sunny day. Gee one would think that with all the positive reviews it's a 5 star resort. Guess what it isn't. Pools are overly crowed, there is no breakfast buffet and you do not get the feeling that you are even in Arizona. Where are the mountains. In summary if you enjoy dark rooms, no views, crowded pools, enormous grounds then this place is for you
