The sheets in the Ridpath were dirty, housekeeping could not stop by until after 4pm. The front desk staff was horrible and not helpful, seems like they were too busy texting on their cell phones. I the housekeeping staff was friendly and nice, they had to change the sheets on the bed because there was hair on them, the bathroom was dirty, paint peeling off the walls in the shower, the rest of the staff seemed angry and as if they did not care about their jobs. I was told the parking garage was full, and later found out it was half empy and I had already paid for a space across the street. The elevator was broken the entire weekend, so all of the guests used the service elevator which was dirty and there were bags of garbage out side of the elevators on every floor.

Although the rooms at the Ridpath have not been remodeled yet, if the lobby and restaurant is an indicator of things to come, there is great hope for the Rodpath. Comforts of a "great" hotel are still missing... no room service, no extra creamer for our complimentary coffee, the main elevators are not usable yet (we had to use the service elevator) but dispite these little annoyances, for the money we paid, the location was excellent, staff friendly upon arrival and check out, and they upgraded our room to a deluxe king from a standard room. Would stay again.

The staff on two shifts need some training in customer courtesy. Behind the bed (we needed to pull bed away to hook in extension cord for breathing machine) there was part of a roll and other food. Had not been cleaned. I found the hotel dark and I stay in these once "Great" hotels all the time. I won't go back but would go back to Hotel Lusso and Davenport (the best) in Spokane.

As a business person with investment in my business I feel for those who are invested in this hotel because it isn't going to bring back customers the way it is operated.

  • Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Only one person working the front desk during peak check in and check out times. they could have had at least one more person during these hours.

CAME HERE FOR A GRADUATION CEREMONY. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, WALKING DISTANCE FOR MOST PLACES OF INTEREST WITH VALET PARKING, RECOMMENDED. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. HOTEL WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED AND CLEAN, ROOMS GOOD SIZE WITH BASIC AMENITIES, QUITE COMFORTABLE. I WAS A LITTLE APPREHENSIVE AS I DID NOT READ "REVIEWS" UNTIL AFTER THE TRIP WAS BOOKED, MY CONCERNS WHERE PUT A EASE UPON ARRIVAL. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN.
