  This is a great family run hotel that is very kid and dog friendly. The rooms are like your grandmother's house - flowery wallpaper, throw rugs and no tv (in the main part of the hotel). The queen size beds were extremely comfortable. This is an old hotel (listed in the guide to Historic Hotels in America), so the hallways are "creaky". The complimentary breakfast is amazing - full hot buffet served on their enclosed porch. Visit the Cottage Breeze Day Spa in Kennebunkport while you're staying there, fabulous massages!
