The accommodation at Blennerhassett Hotel were outstanding.The friendliness of the front desk and hotel staff.Room service was quick and on time.Our room was a juinor suite, about 675 sq.ft and beautiful bathroom with double sinks,with granite counters and large tile shower. Their fine dining restaurant ,Spato's was excellent and very extensive wine list. They had a lounge and coffee shop. Our two day stay was great. We will return there diffidently.They did a great job in renovating 120 year old hotel.

I stay here at least once a year. This boutique hotel in old historic building is a real treat. Although the building is old, the rooms are modern and well appointed. Each floor has some extra large rooms. The large rooms I've seen had a sofa, king sleigh bed with leather padded headboard. If this is what you are looking for ask. But the regular double rooms are quite nice if you don't intend on spending a lot of non-sleeping time in your room. The bathrooms are nice size with plush towels. The lobby has quiet places if you are looking for a place to read or work away from your room. The outdoor patio in the summer is worth a visit even if you aren't staying there -- nice setting, can accommodate large group or you can find intimate corner. The indoor lounge is a quiet and comfortable place to split a bottle of wine before turning in. I recommend the Sunday brunch buffet. I've never had a bad experience here. If looking for a room on the weekend of the 1/2 marathon, book early and 2 night stay is required.

My husband and I were looking for a weekend get-a-way. The Blennerhassett was perfect. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. We booked the haunted night tour of Parkersburg package. The hotel provided flashlights and cute ghost shaped sugar cookies! Gift cards to Starbucks and the Gift Shop. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. The robes were a great touch. The breakfast in bed was incrediable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us with finding tickets for the Blennerhassett Island sternwheeler and mansion tours. The amenities were more than we could have asked for. The resturant Spats located in the hotel was very good! The Starbucks located in the lobby was also great. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay to enjoy yourself, you must stay at the Blennerhassett Hotel.

After a very stressful 2 years caring for my brother with cancer, my husband and I experienced a well deserved get-away at this hotel. We were thrilled by the amenities, services, and relaxing atmosphere! Dinner was superb! We plan to return for my birthday this fall!

I stayed here with my wife and we really enjoyed it. It was a great quality place with a southerm charm to it. I have stayed all over the area and have not found a place that is as good as this. Only thing with parkersburg is its souring crime rate and you are downtown so I would not reccomend walking around in the area at night unless you know the area.
