It was infested with spiders. I payed for internet connection that seems to not exist. If you need internet then avoid this hotel. If you are a non-smoker or a recent quitter then avoid this hotel. I payed for a non-smoking room at-least 2wks in advance and I was giving a smokers room. It seriously smelled like someone died in there with 20cartoons of cigs on fire.

This was by far the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in! The customer service is terrible, it took 30 minutes to check up in because they did not know what they were doing. Then we get to our rooms and it's smoking, and i thought i requested non-smoking. So i call the front desk...and sense we booked this hotel 3rd party (travelocity) we are considered lowest priority. They would not work with us at all because of that fact. Thank Goodness we stayed only for one night, NEVER AGAIN, and tell your friends how horrible this place is!

07/07/2009The staff was professional and very helpful but the hotel was less than acceptable. rooms were small, tub was dirty, didn't feel clean in general. elevator didn't work ...
The staff was professional and very helpful but the hotel was less than acceptable. Rooms were small, tub was dirty, didn't feel clean in general. Elevator didn't work 1 of the 4 days we were there which was difficult with a toddler.

Initially I thought it was good value for the money, until I lived in the place for 2 days. Highlights here, 2 postage stamp size pillows on a king size bed, and a sheet that did not hang over the edge so it was like being short sheeted. kitchen faucet 'twirled' so no regulated hot and cold water. No dish soap to wash the dishes with, so I question how the dishes were cleaned before we used them...yuk!! Toaster only cooked one side. We had bagels that were littly white on one side and charcoal black on the other. The lid did not fit the pan. The spatuala was so flimsy it didn't pick up the eggs. The iron leaked like a sieve. Paint was peeling from the walls. Paid for internet service that would not connect so we had to find alternate places to Google locations, quite inconvienent when you've paid for it. No towels in the room when we first arrived. And Barbara's attitude?? checked us in, owner?? perhaps??? don't even go there! Heading home, we spent a night at another chain and were so amazed at the differnce.....same price but worlds apart in quality, comfort , detail and friendliness!!!

A very good no-frills stay,well worth the money. The room was clean and although not the newest, it was fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some travelers may want or need a daily houskeeping service or breakfast buffet but for me it's just an unnecessary add-on. The location was perfect for me, easy access to the foothills and mountains. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to a friend.
