  We drove everywhere. There were 10 of us altogether. In every direction, only 10-15 minutes to find new things to eat, see, or do. Slidell-antiques. We ran into a rainstorm/sheets-so stopped at a fish market off the freeway. There was a small restaurant-very cheap-excellent food-lots of it-people friendly and informative. We loved all the swamp tours, mansion tours, and downtown locals. We'll be back! Thanks! New Orleans! We loved fishing on Lake Ponchatrain.
