Bad: I booked a double non-smoking bed via online travel website. Got there and the guy at the front desk - who could care less about my comfort - told me they only had kings in non-smoking. He mentioned that my bed wasn't guaranteed via this site, which was not good. My 2 kids and I had to share a king-sized bed rather than me sleeping solo (as was desired!). The front desk staff was uncaring, unfriendly, and unavailable to me twice. I had to pull the old ""Hello, is anybody back there?"" yell to get attention. The room was muggy & humid when we first went in because the A/C was turned off. Yack! Rugs had spots on them, but they weren't too noticeable because of the dark color. I'm glad it was not sunny out because the pool sucked (VERYsmall). Good: It was very convenient because it's right next to I-20 and Columbia Mall and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast bar had eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, cereal, muffins, and lots more. That was the best part of my stay.

Stayed here for military graduation weekend. Rooms were clean and tidy. Got a great deal for the weekend. Staff was nice and courteous. Rooms were just the right size for the family which were 5 people. And the, Breakfast was great, excellent. Some places offer only a bagel and cereal for their free breakfast. Not here, They go all out.

Hotel was clean and lobby was nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great did not expect eggs and sauage. We were impressed with the hotel and staff the day that we had to check out we were able to get an extended check out time with no charge because we had locked our keys in the car and had to wait around for a locksmith. I will stay here again and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Where do I start? We came to see our daughter graduate from Ft. Jackson, when we checked in the clerk seemed more concerned about her personal phone call than taking care of the customer. The floors had not been mopped in what appeared to be days. Now to the rooms. The beds had no fitted sheets, and felt like the mattress was 15 years old. The bathroom was so small 1 person could barely turn around in it. The water in tub faucet ran non-stop probably a gallon every 15 minutes, there was also hair in the tub. The water in the sink faucet had NO pressure. When we returned the next evening nothing had been cleaned or straighten, no fresh towels, and the beds had not been made. I could go on and on. When I mentioned this to a different clerk at checkout she only made excuses for the staff. On the bright side, the free breakfast was very good.
