The Hyatt Place was absolutely gorgeous! My husband & I went for a weekend anniversary getaway and could not have been happier. We were greeted at the front door by their friendly staff and rooms were spotless! The entire staff was friendly whenever you would encounter one of them. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping center. A definite do again!!

The Hyatt was a beautiful hotel - I was greeted warmly at the front desk, and my room was spotless and HUGE! I had a sectional sofa in one area with a desk and kitchenette, and 2 beds with bath, sink, and closet in the other. It was very modern and tastefully decorated. A very large flat screen tv. (an obnoxious bit to go through to get to just regular news etc) - nice linens etc. All was great - only negatives would be - no vending machines and all food is very $$$ - a soda and 2 candy bars were almost $6. Breakfast was nicely presented but no real substance. coffee, toast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, that's it. There were other things you could pay a pretty price for. I paid about $12 in the evening for a beer and an omelet. There are no restaurants within walking distance - at least not at night for a woman alone. They would shuttle me to a business meeting but not to a conference at a church?? And no phone books in room - said they have not had that for years..... I think other places do.... All in all a great place.

I have stayed at many Hyatt Place locations. This one is under construction , changing from Ameri Suites that had been there for 11 years + ... The hotel is beautiful, but many of the ammenities are not working yet. The internet was not accessible from the room, the ice/vending area was still in the plastic. The fresh pastries you normally smell when going to a Hyatt Place when you walk thru the door was replaced with the smell of fresh paint & carpet. I would definatley stay at this location again, but they need to have a little more time to get the renovations completed before you can get the full "Hyatt Place" feeling.
