    Hotel was located on broadway, busy intersection of 2 hwy's... accessible to NYC via NJ transit (although costly for a family to travel in, markedly cheaper than actually staying in the city), close to malls, comfortable distance to upstate NY etc etc. Staff very friendly, breakfast fresh and on-time evey morning, hotel clean and modern, room a nice surprise. The indoor pool a bit of a disappointment (temperature too cold to swim), no hottub or sauna, gym facilities nice! Internet annoying as it had issues with connection for the 6 days were were there. All round nice place to stay, great for budget travelers. Only major annoyance is that the ""laundry facilities"" advertised were pay-per-garment (not do-it-yourself laundromat style) which would have cost a fortune for 6 people and we underpacked thinking we could wash our clothes. Eventually found a laundromat around the corner so it was no major drama only that we had to spend half a day there to do something we should have been able to do in the hotel of an evening. The ""gallery kitchen"" has no avenue for ""prepare-your-own-meals"" which would have been nice since we were tight on money and spent an absolute fortune on eat-out's and take-aways during our trip (when it would have been nice to occassionally prepare something simple). A few misleading statements but a good place for the package price!
