    Restaurant right there very nice, but open at 7 not 6, loved the access to the internet, gift shop very nice, front desk quite professional, pool cool and indoors and ...

    restaurant right there very nice, but open at 7 not 6, loved the access to the internet, gift shop very nice, front desk quite professional, pool cool and indoors and only until 10 pm, but hot tub hot as it should be, close enough to Canyon de Chelly and the 7-8 pm free lectures at their visitor center, wonderful. Laundry at Dine mall near Bashas clean compared to others on the res. Ate also at Holiday Inn nicer restaurant.

    Overall, I woudl say this hotel is a good stay, but the price makes this place (or any place at Chinle) more pricy than its worth (I paid a little >$100) given that there is lack of competition at Chinle. Place is free of roaming dogs/horses (yes, that seems to be the norm at most Indian lands I visited), and reasonably well maintained. Room is overall clean. There is also a reasonable restaurant conviniently on site serving usual American cuisine. Lobby has a small gift shop as well. No stellar recommendations here but adequate for a comfortable/somewhat pricy night of stay.

    Room rate of $* was way too high for an average room with no breakfast. bathroom floor not clean. adjacent restaurant was mediocre but there's not much else around.
