  Dingy and tattered, a Soviet-style monolith right next to an eight lane highway. Excellent beds (really!) are absolutely no use when the noise of traffic going by 30 yards away makes the experience very similar to sleeping in your car by the side of the road. The quality of the bedding raised this hotel from one star to two; I had to give accurate props where they were deserved. But It stinks to shell out a C-note in order to lay awake all night from the noise. With so many other choices available, there is no reason to stay here.

  Room was booked for an associate for an overnight stay to attend a conference. Upon his arrival the staff refused to honor his reservation although he had confirmation number in hand. After traveling over 3 hrs to get to the hotel my associate was turned away. The hotel still BILLED ME for the room dispite several attempt to resolve this with an extremely rude manager. Dont waste your time or money, the service is horrible

  My wife & I and sister & husband stayed here last year; almost same time as other reviewer. We think the neighborhood isn't beautiful (for sure), but the hotel was clean & safe. I was born in NH & didn't think the area was unsafe (now live near DC). Plan to stay here again in Oct '06.
