I would highly recommend anyone traveling to D.C. and the surrounding area to stay at the Clarion Hotel Oxon Hill. From the moment we arrived, we were completely satisfied with the prompt service and accomodations. The employees from the front desk clerk to the housekeeping ladies, the bar and restaurant employees treated us with utmost respect and were there to help with any questions or problems. Once again, I would highly recommend anyone traveling to D.C. or surrounding are to stay at the Clarion Hotel Oxxon Hill. My only suggestion for improved service would be the availabily of a courtesy van for guests.

The hotel itself was nice and clean and the staff was great. I was a little concerned about security b/c it is not in a great part of town. I thought my stay was OK until I left and realized I was charged not only by the travel website but another $ by the hotel. I called and they said they would refund it but still charge me $ for my restaurant bill. The restaurant which I NEVER stepped foot in nor did I order anything to my room. I didn't even have the free breakfast. I traveled alone, what would I have ordered for that much money??? But I was done arguing and will never stay there again. Its a shame they can't get their billing right b/c the hotel itself wasn't bad.

This hotel was an excellent value. Nice rooms and lobby. The restaurant was a little slow but the food was excellent. Pool, fitness room, and guest business centers were great however adult supervision were required for all if your children were under 16. The location was great, Just a few miles from the metro system. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
