  The front desk treated us like we're asking for free room. no smile, just keep barking like a dog. two front desk was arguing in front of me. so ...

  The Front Desk treated us like we're asking for free room. No smile, just keep barking like a dog. Two front desk was arguing in front of me. So unproffessional. The person serving me directly much better, but, the other one who just stand there doing nothing acting like she ready to start a war with me. Also, we found a used towel on the floor as we walked into the room for the first time. It was my second stay. The first one was 2006.

  We stayed here since we were visiting friends in Plum Island and also did shopping in Newburyport and visited Crane Beach. Hotel room had a slight musty smell but was very clean. Breakfast was good - fresh waffles and warm muffins. Price was right for what we needed. Would stay again.

  Once you got past the unfriendly desk clerk who thought she was doing you a favor by registering you everyone else was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is very good. There listing should have better directions for finding it from the interstate. I blame that on the online travel website Listing.

  I like this hotel. The rooms are large and comfy. The service is nice. Only problem was that the write-up indicated that pets were OK with extra $$ and the sign at the desk said pets were not welcome. Oh well - my dog is only 4 pounds! :-)
