I made a reservation 3 hours before we planned to check in for a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival, we were given a room with 2 full beds that smelled like smoke. They had overbooked the hotel. While apologetic, we had no options for another room and since we were traveling with 3 kids, we chose to stay put. They did offer us a can of air freshener. Upon checkout, I spoke with the manager and he gave us a 50% discount. The hotel is situated about 1 mile off the freeway right next to a bowling alley. I wasn't overly comfortable with the amount of traffic in and out of the parking lot (we didn't leave anything in our car) but it was very convenient to the freeway.

Very nice and comfortable. Hotel has interior hallways and secruity camera outside. Parking is very close to entrance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was a full breakfast at an adjacent restaurant. Our room was very close to the ice machine. Ask for a high number on the first floor if you want to be near the ice. Lobby has vending machines for soda. Coffee in the lobby and coffee maker in the room. For those who like fresh air, the windows DO open. Don't let the bowling alley bother you. The rooms are very quiet, just very minor traffic noise. Beds are very comfortable, and I was especially pleased with the very plump, soft pillows. I like my head high up and the three pillows I had worked just fine. There is a nice area around the pool, which is completely enclosed in a courtyard, with plenty of tables and chairs. All in all, a very good deal.

This hotel was amazingly good. VERY good for the price. It is nothing special but it was clean and had a great pool. While it is not on the top of my list for great hotels, if you are in the area and need a safe, clean and affordable place to stay this is it! I would stay here again if I was on business in the area.

Don't let the plain exterior or the fact that it's connected to a bowling alley put you off! Roomy, clean, comfortable rooms with many amenities: fridge and microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and extra pillow. Room service availible from walking distance restaurant. Great value for the price, great service, nice pool, safe and secure. Try it when visiting the LA area.
