Hotel is great for a night stay. Bathroom was a little dirty. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. It was a hot breakfast and had plenty of food. Would stay their again.

Had just showered and hopped into bed. Sheets felt like they weren't clean. Pulled them back and there was a wet spot right in the middle of the fitted sheet. Manager didn't offer a different room. Said he would change the sheets which he did himself. He only wanted to change the sheets but I made him change the pad also. After he left our room I pulled back the bedspread and noticed it was dirty too. Had blood on it. And I noticed spots of blood on the bedspread too. The blanket and bedspread had never been washed from whenever that blood had gotten on there. I left a note the next morning and pointed out the blood and asked them to wash the bedspread and blanket. They did but you could still see where the blood had been. Bathroom was dirty too. Alot of mold around the edge of the tub. Floor looked like it hadn't really been cleaned in a long time. Alot of dirt in the corners on the floor. TV remote didn't work. We brought it to their attention but they just changed the batteries and said to try that. Its an older GuestHouse but still it could be kept cleaner. We stayed in a GuestHouse in Nashville that was wonderful and thats why we booked this one in Knoxville. Unfortunately we had booked two nites in this motel so we weren't happy for two nites. We didn't even go to the Continental breakfast the first morning. 2nd morning we just got some coffee. After seeing the dirty bed made me wonder how clean they were when it came to food service. No excuse for dirty sheets.

First let me say - I made a mistake - I remember what I thought was the Guest House Inn being in another location. This was an older motel that still had the old motel's name on everything. The room was musty and moldy - my whole family has sore throats, coughing and our luggage smells of an old wet motel room. If I had not done a travelocity smart buy - I would have left and tried my best to find another motel - even if we had to spend a little more. The staff people were nice - it was just the age and shape of the building. Will not be staying here again - and will be super careful booking on-line again.

On the plus side the hotel was RIGHT off the expressway ( I-40) in Knoxville. Easy off/Easy on, and near several restaurants. Our non-smoking room was actually non-smoking and had recently had the carpet replaced. The room was fairly clean and simple. It is a motel not hotel so we came in directly from outside. On the downside, the hotel is RIGHT off the expressway and there was alot of traffic noise - a constant hum and growl of traffic driving past. The traffic woke us earlier that we were planning on getting up. Perhaps it would have been a bit quieter on the backside. For the rate - it is a good motel to stay at if you need someplace to crash while driving through. We wouldn't pick it again because of the noise level.

the location is great, right off the freeway so easy to find. wonderful front desk and mgmt staff. the hotel had a FREE hot buffet breakfast, which was great. had plenty of items to choose from and the main thing was that it was free. rooms where very nice , some rooms were renovated, however we didnt recieve one but the room we recieved was good enough. i would tell people to stay here.
