Reference our recent stay, I was disappointed with the hotel, being it was the only 3 star hotel in Roswell. IWe had requested a bottom room floor, but ended up with a second room floor. First thing we noticed was there was no elevator for the second floor. The stariwell and hallway smelt like animals. There was also construction going on. Pannels were missing on the ceiling. The breakfast that was served in the restaurant was not frequently replenished and there was no one cleaning the carpets or tables. There was also stains on our bathroom towels and they were old and dirty. The sink had not been cleaned thoroughly. There were tiny little gnat bugs flying in the room. The carpet in the rooms were dirty. The rooms looked like they were decorated in the late 70's. The pool at night was very dark. We left our plates in the hallway by the door that we brought up from breakfast and they were still sitting there the next day. The tv wasn't working-the batteries were dead in the remote and when we got it fixed there was no satellite reception. The mattress was old and not comfortable. The rooms could have been much cheaper for what we got. I would rate it as a low 2 star. The only good things were that there was a bar and a golf shop. It was also convenient to restaurants. The staff quickly addressed our tv remote issue giving us batteries.

When we first pulled up it looked like it had some wear and tear on the outside. I was skeptical but once inside was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was beautiful, check-in was quick, room was spacious and clean, pooland spa were nice size with pool towels, and the hot breakfast wow! (Free morning paper too) Anyone who is traveling through Roswell and you need a great night's sleep this is a must stop place.

We checked in for one night on July 15, 2006. The clerk was friendly and fast. The room was immaculate and non-smoking actually smelled like a non-smoking room. Beds were comfy and the A/C was perfect. Pool was clean but on the cool side. Hot tub could've used a little cleaning..other than that..perfect!
