My stay was riddled with problems: -The bed did not have the proper bedding and I had to get some from the front desk. -There was no hot water the evening of 2/14 and morning of 2/15. Front desk blamed it on the Jacuzzi suites. Your choice was either no shower or a cold one. -The thermostat was installed improperly. You had to turn it down for heat or up for cool. -Housekeeping did not clean the room on the morning of 2/14. One positive was that the girls at the front desk were friendly.

We had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel. The first room we stayed in smelled like sewage, we had to ask for towels and blankets, the blowdryer didn't work. They moved us to another room - once again, no towels and we had to ask for blankets. We liked this room until the racket in the middle of the night - sounded like the garbage truck was sitting next to our bedroom for about 30 minutes around midnight. The following morning, we were moved to our third room. We were told we had 15 minutes to move - but they would make it worth our time...when we checked out, they told us that they did give us a discount - the room they forced us to move to was more expensive and they didn't charge us the additonal amount. Not quite what I had in mind! We had to ask for towels, blankets and sheets in the third room as well. There were dirty sheets on the sofa sleeper. The housekeeping didnt empty the trash cans in our room the enitre week we stayed. The morning after I complained about that, I found the thick smelly dark yellow substance on my toothbrush! Management thinks it was probably a cleaning solution. One of the only days that housekeeping came to our room, they took all of our towels, didn't leave us any new ones, didn't do any other housekeeping. You're probably wondering why we stayed the whole week...we ddin't have a choice. We were with a large group - 3 rooms total, we were sharing cars - and couldn't find another hotel that could take all of us. The other rooms also had problems with no towels, multiple rooms, missing lightbulbs, poor/no housekeeping. If you stay, check windows- all unlocked!

This hotel had the nicest staff we've ever met. The room was very clean and had a wonderful paint-job: something we don't tend to notice. Everything was comfy. The pool was cold, but we went late in the afternoon, anyway. This hotel also had the best contiental breakfast. They really made an effort to make it apatizing and clean. The only problem we had was that the room was too cold, but that just allowed us to snuggle more than usual. :)

This is the third time in the last 25 years we've stayed at this motel. It's a family-friendly place, great pool, nice continental breakfast. The staff are great! The rooms are a bit small and the beds are beginning to show a little age, but it was spotless and a great location to drive around to the mountains and other spots we wanted to visit. They provided an inflatable bed for my granddaughter--it was totally comfy and she loved it! They loaned us a fan for our room because my husband thought it was hot (I thought it was fine)....just great folks to deal with.
