I was very happy with the Best Western Greenfield Inn. The hotel placed us in a room right near the stairs to the lobby, which made access exceptional to the amenities. The staff seemed very attentive and the wait persons in the restaurant were exceptionally pleasant. Only one negative appeared on the record on our departure day, unfortunately. A water main broke outside the hotel and one of the parties was unable to use the bathroom for lack of water on the day we were scheduled to fly out. I think the front desk could of handled this situation better. Fortunately, they did refund the previous nights charge. But I had to ask for the accommodation, it should of been offered without question. And the front desk should of made a better effort to inform their guests of the water main. They used a very lame excuse, such as ""most of our guests have departed by 10am"" implying we should of been out earlier. I considered this an affront to my intelligence as a paying guest. That does not excuse the hotel from at least making a reasonable effort to inform the guests that are still in their rooms, or posting some sort of notice in the lobby for all to read, or sending out a phone message to each room.

Overall, my stay was comfortable and worth the money. The linens were very clean, the bed was very supportive and there were plenty of pillows. The TV and shower worked well. However, the wireless internet access did not. I was unable to get online with my notebook, and had to utilize the free station in the lobby to check my email. The staff at the front desk were quite helpful and courteous, especially when I experienced a flat tire and needed some advice as to where to get service. Also, the fresh-baked cookies were quite tasty. The fitness room is in need of repairs, especially the weight machine and the video monitors. I found the restaurant's food to be rather bland and a bit overpriced. The decor, particularly the rugs, was loud and clashy. I understand Detroit is the Motor City, and the inn is near the Henry Ford Museum, but maybe a few less pictures of cars everywhere? And no...the preponderance of pink outside is not charming; a friend of mine who is local to the area began to refer to the place as the 'pink behemoth'. In summary, it is a comfortable place to stay, but could use some improvement in decor, some repairs and some adjustments to the food offerings of the restaurant.

As a Gold Crown Member, I stay in Best Western Hotels every month. This property is suppose to be very special. The staff doesn't compare to the Woodhaven staff. And quite frankly, I'm shocked at the clientelle of this hotel. I did let the front desk know about the extremely drunk young people in the pool, someone from maintenance came to the pool and walked around. This wasn't at all what I expected and I will never return.

Nice place. Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, the bathroom was smalll but well stocked with toiletries & plenty of towels. We slept very well. The room was comfortable and overlooked the courtyard area. We used the jacuzzi & pool everyday, the exercise room a good assortment of exercise machines. We ate at the onsite restaurant, and food was good but a little spendy. They had a nice courtyard area with a koi pond & gazebos. Very quaint, and surprisingly quiet even though we were just off the freeway & in an industrial area. There is shopping nearby & we were within 3 miles of the Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. They are doing road work in the area & Enterprise Drive is open for One Way traffic only; but the hotel does have notice on its website about construction & directions for alternate access, so were not surprised. We were very pleased & would stay here again!

Loved being able to sit outside at the gazebo area. Desk, Dining Room, and bar help were very friendly and helpful. Clean, easy to get to. Would like an adults-only time at the pool; too many kids in the pool and jacuzzi. Prices in restaurant reasonable; omelet was huge! The museums very easy to get to from there. We will be using them again to go to Greenfield, etc.
