  Since last stay staff appears to have been upgraded from obese and testy front desk women to slimmer and more pleasant staff.

  Since last stay staff appears to have been upgraded from obese and testy front desk women to slimmer and more pleasant staff.
  
  Also hotel prohibits CCW permitees to carry firearms into hotel. They oblivously do not care about the personal safety of their guests, who are proven non-threats by their lack of criminal records and lack of mental incompetency judgments.
  
  If another hotel in town would have a vacancy, I'd choose it first.

  We usually trust best westerns, but this place was awful! we checked in late and crashed, bed was hard, blankets old and not laundered. the worst was the next morning ...

  We usually trust Best Westerns, but this place was awful! We checked in late and crashed, bed was hard, blankets old and not laundered. The worst was the next morning when I dropped something in the bathroom, bent down and noticed a long urine streak down the side of the toilet that I know WE didn't put there. The floor in the bathrom was stained and dirty and if they dusted before our stay, it was only cursory and with a feather duster. Then we looked into the lobby from outside and actually saw dirt and trash between their blinds and the big window in the lobby. This place is FILTHY!

  We recently stayed here and thought it was one of the nicest, cleanest places we have ever stayed. The continental breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size for the four of us and it was very quiet. Also, the swimming pool was very clean and open extended hours! We would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Carthage, especially families!

  My family has stayed in this hotel 3xs in the past year, and have had excellent service each time. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, staff is very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this hotel.
