Well I wanted cheap and I got it. What should I have expected when this is the same type of motel I'd take a shack up date to? It was a little scary when I pulled in after 1:00AM and the clerk wouldn't buzz me into the lobby. Instead I had to stand out in the cold and fill out a form thru the little opening created by the bulletproof glass of what once was fast food resturant drive thru window box. Got to my room. It was clean but dated. Not a place to make a home base for a multi day sight seeing trip. I was tired and it was late. I stripped off my clothes and hoped into bed and had just reached slummbers when there was a knock at mny door. Not knowing the neighborhood, I didn't dare open in. I pulled on my pants and peeked out the curtains to see some kid skipping off into the parking lot from my door and between my car and the next. God knows what awaited me if I opened the door. I'm going to be more careful in the future when I book rooms out of state. And spend the extra money for a place a little more safe.
