As another reviewer indicated, a blast of smoke hits you as you enter the lobby. The casinos are immediately adjacent to the reception desk. The smell can be overwhelming... after five minutes you will smell like smoke. The rooms are separated from the lobby by a door and are therefore smoke-free. The entry to the rooms is easy and the hallways and rooms have a clean, fresh look. Rooms are clean and bright and are well-maintained. Every room fronts the Kootenai River. Amenities are first-rate, and though we did not get to use any of the spa or pool areas, they appear to be of excellent quality. Bonner?s Ferry is a pleasant little town that is worth exploring. Close (30 minutes) to Creston, BC and Sandpoint, ID. Good price (maybe a little bit high given how far away from anything this place is) but definitely an option in the Idaho Panhandle. One item of note: The casinos are not mentioned anywhere in the travel website text except the last two sentences in the description.

Our ONLY negative here was the smoke reeking from the Casino thru the lobby. Accomdations are very nice with each room having a view of the Kootenai River. Don't miss going to the SPA. Very reasonable rates. Very luxurious. I'm ready to return!!
