This was not a pleasant stay. The room was in disrepair, the shower barely worked. The diverter wasn't functional and 1/2 the water came out of the spout and the other half through the shower head. The drain cover was broken and left upside down with the spikes up so we could have been hurt if we didn't see it first. The tile was being held in by caulk. OLD and it looked it. Attitude at the front desk when I called in the morning asking for soap because housekeeping hadn't left any. They wanted me to come down in my jammies to get it myself. The room was not restocked. Poor housekeeping services. There were roaches in the breakfast room which was not only generally dirty, but dark and dingy. as for the food, free was too much to pay. The pastries were hard and terrible. The eggs were ok but after we saw the roaches we really didn't want anything else. Don't stay here!!!

This was not a pleasant stay. The room was in disrepair, the shower barely worked. The diverter wasn't functional and 1/2 the water came out of the spout and the other half through the shower head. Overall The hotel was good. The only thing that needs improvement was the room service. There was only one person working at the front desk so they couldn't leave to bring something to the room. I would stay there again or recommend others to stay there.

My sister and I stayed at the Best Westen Capital Beltway over the weekend. We were attending a wedding and needed a hotel that offered complimetary breakfast. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We got excellent directions from the front desk staff and they also gave us a one hour late check out. We really needed that. We will stay there again in August.
