The staff was realy friendly,and te breakfast was great.The rooms were clean and quiet.We have a child w/a disability and they were great about helping him!
the hotel was booked and we asked for 6 towels and they only gave us 3.The pool was heated,but it was still cold.Overall it was a good hotel and we would stay here again.
It is compareable to other hotels in this area and price range.......better then a few we have been to in the area -

I thought it would be a good choice. It is a very run down hotel, the bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close, very friendly staff, warmed over frozen food as part of the "all out" hot breakfast (even the danish were freezer burned), all entrances are from the outside including 2nd floor rooms with no elevator and rickety, poorly lit stairs, the outside hallways had burned out lights and there were large spiders in webs hanging from the hall ceilings. The small pool is outside though heated. Beds very lumpy and hard. Room and carpet felt moist due to overabused swamp cooler. Room itself was so tiny we kept bumping into each other. Since it was the final State Fair weekend the room's cost was above normal and way beyond the value. I would recommend everyone to have second thoughts about staying here.

08/06/2007Parking is simply awful; tiny spaces with narrow entry; don't be surprised if your car gets bumped while you're parked there. the "free" wireless internet did not work ...
Parking is simply awful; tiny spaces with narrow entry; don't be surprised if your car gets bumped while you're parked there. The "free" wireless internet did not work either day I was there, and the staff couldn't care less. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, with what may be the world's smallest pillows. Worst of all; we drove off without our camcorder, and when we called the front desk a few hour laters, nobody "knew anything about it," nor did anybody care...including Best Western corporate office.
We stayed here, because it seemed to be a "good deal" for the money...it's not! Stay away from this hotel!! -

I thought the accomodations were good. They had a good hot breakfast in the morning which was nice. The bathroom in our room was a little small, like you were standing in a closet, but otherwise good. My only complaint was that house keeping came WAY too early!! I don't sleep in much, but they were knocking on our door at 8am to come clean.

I was greeted by a friendly ,nice front desk person who was happy to help with directions when i requested help ! they were helpful. I did not have any problems at all really to mention however cleaning staff should vacume rooms daily because this was overlooked and should be rountine""tacky"" also i requested a vacume to do myself for upkeep on room and it was never delivered. ""saddly"". overall a nice place to stay !
