    We stayed at this hotel on the 27th of march. i reserved two rooms, one for myself and my husband, and the other for my brother. i called the hotel ...

    We stayed at this hotel on the 27th of March. I reserved two rooms, one for myself and my husband, and the other for my brother. I called the hotel the day I made reservations,which was 14 days in advance..I told them we were both handicapped, and needed both rooms downstairs, and we would like the rooms together. When we got there, we were both given rooms UPSTAIRS. I almost fell down those stairs three times. NOt only were our rooms upstairs, but we were not even in the same building. I have a hard time believing that the hotel was all booked up two weeks ahead. We had a really hard time wiith the stairs and this ruined the entire trip. When we checked in, The clerk acted like she could care less. The room was nice but we were kind of surprised. We have stayed at cheaper hotels,and this is the first one that didn't have a refrigerator,or a microwave. Overall, we expected a lot more from Howard Johnson, and were sorely dissapointed.
