I had booked a room (king sized bed with a queen-sized sleeper sofa) through Travelocity for 1 adult and three children. After 10 hours of driving, I arrived to check into the room and parked directly in front of the front desk (where my children in the vehicle could be seen through the front desk windows). After check-in, I went to my room for some much needed rest, only to be called 2 minutes after walking in the room by the hotel manager. On the phone, he informed me that he had watched me go into the room with children (;all under 10) along with what appeared to be two pet carriers. He accused me of lying to the front desk clerk about how many people were going to be staying in the room (I missed the front desk clerk asking me that it was two adults in the room---- my confirmation page from Travelocity had the correct number of people). He also accused me of taking two pet carriers into the room (in violation of their STRICK no pet policy);. Even when I tried to tell him that I had booked the room with the correct information and that the "pet carriers" were my son's toolbox of tools and an obvious play carrier for my 3 y/o son's stuffed animals, he accused me of being dishonest. The manager told me that I would have to move to a SMALLER room. He also told me that I would have to leave a credit card at the front desk for any damage that my children caused to the room. When travelocity requested a refund on my behalf after booking another room for me, the manager refused to extend a refund, even though I did not stay at the hotel.

When we arrived, the front desk was very friendly and she smile and welcome us to Casa Grande (the big house) she also gave a brief tour on the map where to locate the laudry room, vending machines and breakfast room. Housekeeping was also very nice, we request more towel and they gave us fresh towels. The kids were a little disappointed with the pool, it had bugs in it..and it was too much to sweep the pool clean ourselves. Other than that we had a great stay.. =)

04/05/2008We attended spring training games & followed the la dodgers. we stayed here 3 days while the games zig-zag'd between phoenix & tucson. it was comfortable & convenient. there were many ...
We attended Spring Training games & followed the LA Dodgers. We stayed here 3 days while the games zig-zag'd between Phoenix & Tucson. It was comfortable & convenient. There were many places to eat. Walmart is nearby if you forgot something.
