We stayed at this hotel in Sept. 2008. And highly regretted the decision. The carpets were filthy, and no amount of asking for another room, or to get the carpets cleaned were met with any success. Staff are helpful, but I feel that the management of this hotel does not care that this property is degrading. Beds were lumpy, and we never got Internet access for 3 of the 4 days we were there. We will never stay there again.

After staying in this hotel, both my sister and I were diagnosed with scabies. The hotel assumes no responsibility, and has not indicated to us if any precautions were taken. However, during our stay, neither cleanliness nor customer satisfaction was a priority. More than once our room was not cleaned, even though we were out all day, and when reported to the front desk staff, we were told that the cleaning staff were busy and did not have time to clean our room. At times, we were just given a couple of towels at the door, no cleaning was done at all. When cleaning was done, it was very basic, i.e. leave some clean towels and sometimes take out the garbage and make the bed.
The kitchenette in the room was a handyman special, uneven handmade looking counters and cupboards and no plug-ins for appliances. Staff did not seem to know what facilities/services or hours of operation were available in the hotel. Food was mediocre.
Hallways were dark and musty smelling.
I do not recommend this hotel, nor will I stay in any Best Western again. -

This hotel was way overpriced for a two star. Rooms were very old and rundown looking with a musty smell, yet we paid more here than we paid for a 4 star in Halifax. Staff not very friendly, especially in restaurant. Location is good - close to downtown area.
