Every Summer we come to Baker City for the Miners Jubilee- we had tried other hotels in town before this one- but after staying here one time, we make it a must to always stay here. We have to book almost a year in advance because this is the place to be when an event is in town. We love the BIG pool as the place to hang out. Lots of families come down and hang out all day Saturday! The rooms have always been clean. The Staff is always very friendly. Its crazy busy there during Miners Jubiliee, but they seem to thrive it and give service with a smile. The hotel has taken extra steps to make sure they are staffed up and that is really appreicated. You also get a free newspaper when you arrive and a discount coupon for their restaraunt and the food is good and the wait staff friendly. Also we discovered there is a laundermat on premies- which came in handy on our last trip. The hotel is right off the freeway and is close to every thing.
