I asked to be changed immediaitely when we walked in and noticed the loud sounds coming from the room above. They said there was no other room available. But the next morning
after being kept awake most of the night and saying I would be checking out early the desk clerk said we could stay the second night in a room in the second building top floor as no one had slept there the night before so we could move in right away. I would stay there again but only in the second building. The ocean view was spectacular. Eat in town. Great fish and chip restaurants. -

Right on the beach - beautiful; people had bonfires at night; ocean waves lull you to sleep; plenty of kids & dogs having fun; standard basic rooms; friendly staff; breakfast not included but having small refrigerator and microwave in room was very convenient. Outdoor heated pool & jacuzzi. Free internet in the room (bring your own ethernet cable) but this area of Oregon is made for exploring the outdoors!

I loved the sound of the waves crashing on the sand. Every room has a view of the beach. The only bad thing is we weren't impressed with the restaurant choices and ended up driving into town to eat.

Location was great, room was fine. Check out woman was surly, we were traveling with a small dog, who stayed in crate in car because dog room not available. Our building clearly stated No Dogs Allowed & he wasn't in building at all. After checking out & I was walking away to door she yelled to me "was the dog in the room?" I stated no he wasn't - wanted to reply "No, I can read" but didn't. If she was so worried about the dog she could have asked me to my face as I checked out. More personable check out staff would ensure return visitors & good customer relations for Best Western.

The room was clean,but smelled like smoke,but they came up and sprayed the room later when we left for dinner,the front desk was semi quick with requests,location was great and the beach was great,the restraunt across the street wasn't as good as advertised but the gift shop was good.
