After arriving at this establishment and looking it over, we decided that we could not stay there. It was in extremely bad need of repair. It is very old. We were going to check out a room before passing judgement but after driving around the outside we deemed that not to be neccessary. We tried to cancel our reservation but could not. It had to be done 24 hours ahead. I believe that is because once you get there and see it, they know that you will not stay there. It was worth loosing the one night fare to not have to stay. I hope Best Western starts to review who it is awarding a license to a little more carefully. It makes me cautious about staying at a Best Western.

This was absolutely our worst accomodation experience in thirty years, and that includes several third world countries we've visited! The staff and management were unresponsive. The rooms, we booked two for our daughter's graduation, were filthy. One even had blood splatters along the wall and lamp at the desk area. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, the young lady gave us cleaner and a towel to take care of it ourselves. The rest of the rooms--we booked two--faired no better. Trash was left in the room from prior guests, and the bathrooms were dirty as well. If the Villa is the best that Best Western can do, then you need to reconsider their business model. To top it off, they double charged my visa. The Richland Inn across the street is a much better choice. Or, we recommend others to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Columbia TN. It's worth the drive.
