  Stayed one night in September 2008 on our way to Colorado. Best Western Nursanickel was clean, affordable, comfortable beds, nice staff, decent continental breakfast. However, outside the room the smell from the cattle feed yards was overwhelming. Additionally, the motel is right next to the train tracks, and we were awakened a dozen times during the night by train whistles. Unless you have to stay the night in Dalhart, would not recommend it. Don't have anything negative to say about the room or the motel itself -- if you must stay in Dalhart for some reason, Nursanickel is a good choice -- but I would suggest avoiding an overnight in this town if possible.

  This was a pleasant stay. check in was very friendly. we were just passing through on our way to california, but would stay again. we had no trouble with noise.

  The room was immaculate with lots of nice touches like a blowdryer, coffee pot with both caffenated and decaffenated coffee, nice shampoos. we will go back again.

  The hotel was dirty, the staff not real helpful. free wireless internet signs posted, but not available in all rooms. very close (across the street) to train tracks with trains ...

  The hotel was dirty, the staff not real helpful. Free wireless internet signs posted, but not available in all rooms. Very close (across the street) to train tracks with trains going by through the night - whistling. On truck route so trucks also going through the night. We plan to avoid staying in the city of Dalhart, TX on any future trips.

  There was a dirty towel hanging behind bathroom door and toilet had not been flushed so had not been cleaned. room had many flies, we probably killled a dozen. tub ...

  There was a dirty towel hanging behind bathroom door and toilet had not been flushed so had not been cleaned. Room had many flies, we probably killled a dozen. Tub drained slowly.
