This motel is in bad need of an update. Cleanliness is impossible when everything is so old. Some of the wood on the door jamb was cracked which made me feel unsafe. The location is basically a truck stop next to the freeway with only one coffee shop near by for meals. The staff members were very nice and cordial.

We booked on line with on-line travel website and the webstire info was encouraging. After arriving into the room it was outdated and had a distictive smoke odor for a no smoking room. The TV cable was spliced too many times and picture was very grainy. The adjacent road noise was intense as the Interstate / exit was within 500 feet. Trucks always coming and going. Most Room doors face the interstate. Hollow walls between the rooms could allow conversations with them. Many quickly fixed items in the room from the bathroom / the vanity and front door. The indoor HOT TUB was broke and just cirulated water. Two days of asking about how to make it work dod not get any answers. Just we'll call the maintenance man.... The indoor olympic size swimming pool was ice cold chilling. Yes it is cold in Laramie in October, but the outside temps were 50-55 both days we stayed. As another family member put it: The water is "Swim Team Temp" to keep you moving. The Free Breakfast does not include overpriced drinks. (making up for the 2 egss toast and hashbrowns) The kids stayed free and ate for free as well. Thus the attraction to staying and lookingforward to the pool. The indoor pool was the primary decision making factor when booking on line compaired to the other hotels in a cheaper price range. The reason for staying in Laramie was for a family funeral.
