Arriving late at the property, I was pleasantly surprised with the attentive, courteous friendly and helpful staff. There is a $ hold on a credit card even though the room was prepaid. This is an older property that is well situated to local attractions. I've found the room to be clean, quiet and well maintained. This room had a fridge and a microwave for minor snacks at night. There is a $* daily charge for 24 hour use of wireless internet. I found this to be good value at a very reasonable price and would recommend this property to a budget consciencious traveller.

I got a ;great deal; on the Cassandra Hotel, but you truly get what you pay for. I was specifically looking for cheap price, non-smoking rooms, free parking, hot tub, and wifi. The price was cheap, but the hot tub was actually cold and the wifi was terrible. Slow, buggy, kept kicking me off, and very weak signal. Also, they gave me a code that only worked for one computer at a time. I was visiting from the USA and had been planning to link my iPhone to the wifi as well as my laptop but that wasn't possible with this one-code system. I finally gave up and managed to find a signal from a nearby open network that I used for the duration of my trip. The parking was the main bonus... it was in a secure underground parking area that was quite safe. The room had a distinct odor, however, even though it was smoke-free. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel, and wouldn't not recommend it unless you only want a bed and a shower.

We stayed in this hotel for a night and it was a pretty good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little too far for us to get to the heart of Vancouver, but to see what Vancouver had to offer on other areas and for the price, was good. The room was clean and there was definetely HOT water, I mean the bathroom could have been used as a sauna though. :) They had a refrigerator and a microwave. In short, I would reccommend this place for few nights.

We stayed at this hotel for eleven days and were very satisfied with everthing. The room was immaculate and was cleaned to perfection every day. The beds were very comfortable. We had a microwave and refridgerator in our room. The staff are all very professional as well as very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here, and will stay here again. The hotel is located close to transport and restaurants. There is a very good fish and chip shop, called Seahorse Fish and Chips, one hundred yards down the street, and a very good bakery up the street, called Joyce Bakery.

We stayed at this hotel for eleven days and were very satisfied with everthing. The room was immaculate and was cleaned to perfection every day. The beds were very comfortable. We had a microwave and refridgerator in our room. The staff are all very professional as well as very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here, and will stay here again.
