Got a ""special NYE rate""--which was DOUBLE the normal daily rate! Parking was $/day, except there wasn't any. Lobby and main floor were clean and modern, but that was the only part of the hotel that was. Rooms and room floors are run down and dingy. Beds were NOT pillow top, just average, old, cheap mattresses. Showerheads are intended to be ""eco-friendly"", but limited the water flow so much it took twice as long as a standard showerhead to wash and rinse off. Room refrigerator barely kept things colder than room temp. Front desk staff was polite enough, but had their hands full just signing people in--a basic part of the job. Probably didn't help that there was only one guy checking people in, answering the phone, putting out fires. Parking was a joke, the holiday probably had something to do with the garage being full, but all the parking outside the garage is metered by the city. ""Hot breakfast buffet"" is actually a continental breakfast. If it was advertised as that, fine, but it's advertised as a buffet. While it was very convenient staying in the same hotel where the NYE party was being held, next time I'll just walk to any of the other hotels in a 6-block radius. I'll definitely NOT stay at this hotel ever again, regardless of the rate or circumstances. And while I have only had good experiences with Best Western up to now, this stay puts a bad taste in my mouth. This hotel is in serious need of renovating, the only thing it has going for it is it's location.

We found the hotel staff not the friendliest staff of any hotel we've been to! They were not particularly helpful either. We would not stay at that hotel again if we visit Seattle. There was not shuttle provided by the hotel to or from the airpost or dock for our cruise. The shuttle service was an outside service or a limo or taxi.

Excellent situation especially with kids, near to the space needle and the monorail. Check-in with a reservation problem, no room with space needle view available, not a big deal they gave us a room on the other side of the hotel. The wifi connection is excellent but the faucit of the shower doen't work, the beds are ready to be changed for news one ! And they charge 15$ per day for the car parking. Not horrible but not worth 165$/night...

The rooms were old with stains on the carpet. We put the comforters upside down on the floor so our 1 year old could crawl around the floor. The entrance is new and clean but the room was a dissapointment. The location was great especially if you have kid(s).
