  The Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Shepherdstown, WV offers premium hotel service. From the great hotel staff to the beautiful and comfortable accommodations to the great food, you will not be disappointed with your stay. You will not find better customer service anywhere. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. This hotel is located in an area rich in early settlement and civil war history.

  I was very disappointed with this so called three star hotel (two/two and a half star at best). The rooms are in desperate need for remodeling (musty smell, box spring was stained). The bathroom was the worst (bathtub was missing molding and was riddled with mildew, sink was cracked and dirty, there was no ventilation and no trashcan). However the housekeeping staff did not forget to leave behind an envelope for tips! Definitely stay some place else (like the Bavarian Inn or the new Holiday Inn Express in Charles Town).

  The room was horrible and dirty. i noticed a mouse near the garbage can in my room and i was disgusted! i left immediately!

  Went there for anniversary getaway. no customer service. restaurant closed first night due to private party yet banquet rooms were not in use. jacuzzi not working friday night or saturday; ...

  Went there for anniversary getaway. No customer service. Restaurant closed first night due to private party yet banquet rooms were not in use. Jacuzzi not working Friday night or Saturday; several bugs in the buckets. Room had ants.This was an average hotel trying to charge a luxury rate. Overpriced by at least $30/night.
