We had a wonderful time at this quaint little place. We saw the mill from the exit and were really nervous about the rustic look of the outside. Once we stepped in our concern was quickly abated. The friendliness of the front dest clerk, the reception area, the running water and koi pond was lovely. We enjoyed the personal service (the reception attendant even refused a tip!). We enjoyed the grounds and the James at the Mill restaurant immensely. We will definitely stay again (and soon!)

This is an extremely nice property. The room was excellent. Bedding and linens were exceptional. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room did have a bit of wear and tear. In addition, three light bulbs were out. If not for these trivial issues, I would rate this as the best place I have ever stayed. Definitely will be back!

I must admit that my visit to this hotel was a pleasant suprise. It was a last minute reccomendation from a business associate and I was not sure wat to expect when he told me that the hotel was built around a mid 1800 water powered grain mill. The hotel has a tremendous amount of unique character and a very welcoming charm. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and made me feel very relaxed during my stay. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. I am not sure what brand of mattress they use, but it was one of the best night's sleep I have ever enjoyed at a hotel. The architectual details as well as the beautiful spring pond stocked with koi fish makes for a fun walk around the grounds. I also tried the adjacent restraunt, James At The Mill, and had an excellent meal both nights during my stay. I thought the menue to be a little pricey at first glance but soon discovered that the experience was well worth it. If you happen to be traveling to Northwest Arkansas for business or pleasure I highly recommend this hotel.
