  This property is clean and adequate, but we won't be staying at this Comfort Inn again. For starters, although we reserved a room with a king bed, a sofa sleeper, a microwave, and a refrigerator, we were initially given a room with a king bed and a chair (and the other stuff). Since we travel with 3 kids, the sleeping amenities are non-negotiable. We just can't make a king bed and a chair work for 5 of us. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. She personally inspected the next room she offered us to ensure it had the correct furniture. Unfortunately, what it did not have was a microwave and a refrigerator. We travel with snacks and drinks for the kids, so kitchen facilities are desirable for us. We were able to use the micro. in the lobby and the clerk offered to keep any items we needed refrigerated in the hotel's refrigerator. Not so convenient, but it worked. The real kicker here is the meager breakfast offering. There was so little food available that the clerk actually apologized, and was clearly embarrassed. Since we plan our travel budget accordingly when a hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast, this was problematic. Our family of 5 could have easily wiped out the entire breakfast ""buffet"" in one visit. There were about 9 small store-bought donuts, a few pieces of bread with packets of peanut butter, jelly, and a toaster available, coffee, juice, and 2 canisters of cereal with a pitcher of milk. There was no fruit, no yogurt, no muffins, no bagels...You get the picture. A complimentary continental breakfast doesn't have to be anything special, but if its advertised, there should at least be enough food there for more than one family. We were very disappointed, and left hungry.

  Friendly, efficient staff. convenient location just off parkway. pool not in service date of visit - not a personal concern, but just in case you're traveling with kids.
