Several friends joined us for a visit to Asheville, NC and to see Biltmore House. We arrived early but no rooms were ready at the time. We requested three adjacent rooms and the desk clerk was able to accomodate our request (rooms together must be double bed rooms) with two of the rooms with an adoining door. The rooms were clean and adequate with no complaints. TV's are a bit on the small side but no problem with them and a good choice of stations available. There is a hot breakfast every morning from 6 to 10 PM - Eggs, sausage, and waffles. There is only one waffle maker so the wait can be significant. Fitness room adequate.

I recentelly booked two rooms for a four night stay . It was a great experience. The rooms were clean the breakfast was among the best complimentary that any hotel served. The staff were very helpful and proffessional. It is now my prefferred hotel to stay at in Asheville.

I must admit I was a little worried. But either this hotel has improved greatly or other people are too needy. The hotel is clean, good location, and friendly staff. Front desk was helpful when we had issues with out tv reception and also recommending local businesses when we asked. All the staff I have met has been friendly. Breakfast is good. I would stay again.

not at all what I expected
11/13/2008Non-smoking suite...-- broken refrigerator. smelled of smoke. dingy, musty...certainly not what we expected of a hotel in the asheville area for $*/night...bummer.

Disgusting, unsanitary stains on sheets. Not safe at all.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. Stains that clearly looked like blood and urine were on the sheets and also directly on the mattress. Photos are attached so you can see for yourself how unsanitary this place is. This is particularly unsafe for children, who are more susceptible to catching diseases from such conditions.
Also, multiple people jiggled the doorhandles of both of our rooms during the night, and we were legitimately scared for the safety of the elderly couple in our party.
When we complained the next morning, the front desk person was extremely rude. Furthermore, she said the manager would not be in until 11am (what kind of business is this?). The manager also refused to call us back. We later got a message from the front desk person that we would only get $10 off our room and nothing more.
if you have any concern for your safety or health, I would stay far away from this place.
