  We travel often and generally have positive things to say about the Comfort Inns. This particular property was disappointing. The outside and lobby looked very clean, attractive, and appealing. When we went into our room on the first floor, the first thing we were hit with was the strong, florally smell of disinfectant spray. Then we looked into the bathroom. There was black mildew all around the garden tub. Who would want to take a jet bath in a tub surrounded by mildew? Imagine what comes out of the jets when they are turned on? Also, there were no sheers on the window, so we had to keep the drapes closed for privacy, making the room a bit dreary the next morning. We stayed in the room for one night because of the late hour, but found new accomodations the next morning. To give the property owners the benefit of the doubt, our son-in-law stayed there earlier in the year, on the second floor, and said that the room was perfect and clean. Also, our room was nicely decorated with new carpeting. I think the biggest problem was the inability of the bathroom to be vented to remove moisture. I wish that we had requested a new room, but my husband only gives lodgings one opportunity -- and only one -- to please.
