My husband and I stayed here for three nights in November. The room was perfectly nice and clean. The beds were comfy. We noticed that the water pressure in the shower was particularly nice. I'm a vegan, so I especially appreciated that the breakfast bar included juices and good fresh fruit. So many breakfast bars offer bananas that are too green - not the case here. The fruit was perfect. The front desk staff could be friendlier, more welcoming - maybe you could look up and smile at a guest from time to time? They all seemed more interested in ignoring our coming and going while they focused on their computer screens. It was almost as if they wanted to avoid eye contact so that they could avoid questions. Whatev. The maids were friendly. Other than that, this was an economical and decent place to stay. There is even a nice trail that you can begin right from the parking lot in back.

Cannot recommend this hotel. Although the room was clean and comfortable we were not pleased with our stay. Our biggest complaint: there is no one on duty at the front desk overnight - they leave a note with an emergency number to call if there is a problem!! Breakfast was way below average and it was late getting set up. However - if you are in Sedona DO NOT MISS the Mexican restaurant next door to this hotel: the Elote Cafe. This is the BEST mexican food in the world!!!

We just got back from Comfort Inn and the previous reviews were on target. If you don’t expect style and a chocolate on your pillow, you won’t be disappointed. Everything was clean including the bathroom and the pool. Shower was great! Bed was comfortable. View was of the pool. Other rooms may have a better view. Warning, don’t come here if you need an elevator. Air conditioner was quiet but took a long time to cool down the room. It was a little hard to find from the road with all the construction. The first impression when you walk into the lobby is not great, where the décor could use some updating, lighting could be brighter, and there was a slight smell of mildew. All the hallways were hot. Free breakfast was OK but not great. But for the price, it’s a pretty good deal. Good restaurants on either side.

This Comfort Inn is managed well, clean, good up-keep, friendly staff, and provide as nice a stay as one could find anywhere. The breakfast is gracious having bananas, apples, waffles, muffins, dry cereals, hot cereals, several choices of juice, skim and 2% milk, both coffees and several teas, I would stay there again as the location is good and the Mexican restruant next door is excellent.
