highly disappointing

We stayed in this place for one night only (thankfully). After a summer of travellling throughout the southeastern US this was without a doubt the most disappointing location. This location is in dire need of an update and more importantly a thorough cleaning! The exterior was overgrown with weeds. The interior showed a lack of concern by the staff. Our toilet overflowed in the middle of the night for no reason. When reported to the staff we were given towels to soak up the water ourselves! When we tried to do laundry there was no change machine and no change available at the front desk. We were told we could go to the convenience store down the street if we needed change. We came back to our room during the day and found roaches crawling around the coffee maker which we had not used. In fact, we had taken no food into the room at all!! As I said, we have travelled extensively this summer and have not encountered any other Comfort Suites like this one. This property gives the entire chain a bad rep. We will NEVER stay at this location again.
