Very nice low cost hotel. Room was clean and comfy. Indoor pool is nice. Desk help could not have been better. Plenty of eating options within easy walking distance. There is a computer in the lobby for guest use to check email and such. A nice touch at no charge. If you have a laptop, they have hi speed internet access too. Would stay again.

For the price ($53/Saturday) this was very good experience. The hotel was clean, front desk very friendly - even when I asked that they change my room to non-smoking. (Who knew they still have smoking rooms). Even with a hotel full of teenagers, the stay was very pleasant. That could be a tribute to well-behaved kids or well insulated rooms. The bed was very comfortable, although truth-be-told, I was exhausted and probably could have slept well in my car. There were several mediocre restaurants within walking distance. Good food, just not a top-of-the line dining experience. I was too tired to explore further. But, for a rest stop during your travels, two thumbs up.

We went down here to visit Portland. Most hotels in the area were full, and we found this from the roomsaver guide. (Something they didn't accept due to special events occurring in Portland proper). They also have a AAA rate, and non-suite rooms. Breakfast, was a "deluxe continental", involving waffles, boiled (cold) eggs, and Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, the biscuits were very dense.. but ok. The hot tub was nice, but small, and with kids in the pool area (being indoors) it was loud. The room itself was clean, and nice, but the pillows were hard, and some minor repairs wouldn't have been out of the question. Bathroom was typical hotel bland, and a garden tub or at least larger tub would have been a nice addition. Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and quick, regardless of the request. Also plenty of options for food, from Denny's, and Izzy's to Fast food, and ethnic food, and all easy to find. For those with kids a Family Fun Center is located close by as well. The hotel is multi-story but does not have elevators, and were very accommodating on my need for a first floor room.
