  My husband, kids and I were on our way to go boating at Roosevelt Lake and decided to stop there for the night, as we've done for years. This hotel looks nice in the pictures and that's how it looked when we started going there, but they have let it go way down hill from those pictures! The rooms had stains on the carpet. The beds were uncomfortable. They couldn't give us the downstairs room which we'd requested and they'd guarenteed on the phone. The staff was unhelpful and uninterested in any complaints we or other guests had. The man in front of us was complaining about his room also and she just spoke ill of him when he left the room! Unprofessional. And my interest in ever staying there again was ruined when we pulled back the comforter in my kids bed to go to sleep and a ROACH came running out!!!! I almost slept in the car. If it weren't so hot out, I would have.

  The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and there was an on-site restaurant. Service at the restaurant was a little slow, but the food wasn't bad. Overall it is a nice, comfortable hotel.
