  We spotted this hotel but passed it up. After checking out another motel down the road we came back to the Fireside Inn. This place use to be a comfort Inn because my out dated AAA book still had it listed as a Comfort Inn. It was nice and clean. A good safe place to lay your head. We did drive down by the lake since we were so close. It's right in town, but it was quiet - I am a light sleeper.

  I cannot believe what a clean hotel the fireside inn and suites is. the staff was excellent. the expanded continental breakfast was outstanding.

  I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT A CLEAN HOTEL THE FIRESIDE INN AND SUITES IS. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. THE EXPANDED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS OUTSTANDING.
  
  THE REMOLDED ROOMS ARE JUST FANTASTIC.
  
  I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Very boring rooms, dated, not very clean, a/c noisy and old. Used to be a Comfort Inn, should have stayed as a chain. Front desk employees very uncourteous and indifferent.Breakfast was ok, better than some.

  Hotel is very old and dated. lots of smokers in this town and there is really no way to get away from it even in your non smoking room. people ...

  Hotel is very old and dated. Lots of smokers in this town and there is really no way to get away from it even in your non smoking room. People are friendly enough but the room seems dirty and old. At least it does have wireless internet.

  Neither of my beds had been changed from prior guests - hair everywhere - nasty! non-smoking room smelled like smoke when someone across hall was smoking.
