My wife was an employee of the Jamestown Comfort Inn for 2 years, when we booked our hotel for Homecomming at Jamestown College we were promised a family and friends discount. When we arrived from our 11 hour drive we found out that there was no discount and in fact the rate jumped from $89.00 to $119.00 per night for the two nights we stayed. We were assured that it would be taken care of by the manager, who avoided us, on monday. Not suprisingly it was not taken care of, like many things at the Jamestown Comfort Inn. We will never stay at a Comfort Inn, or any Choice Hotels, and will advise our friends and relatives to do the same. My wife and I lived in Jamestown for 6 years, the best hotel there is the Holiday Inn Express off of I-94.

Our overall experience with the Jamestown Comfort Inn has been terrible. The room smelled like smoke, even though they are a non smoking facility. The police showed up and arrested a man for possession of marijuana, and kids were running up and down the halls all night. Not to mention the rediculous rate we had to pay...$119.00/night...with our AAA discount, one bed and a pullout couch. In the morning the front desk clerk was outside smoking and talking on her cell phone. We tried to speak with the manager, who was unreachable all weekend, about our unsleepable night. If you like drugs, noise, high rates, and rude employees stay at this place. I will never stay there again.

The best thing that I can say is that this hotel was fairly clean. I have stayed at many hotels and I can fairly say that this is one that I will not be ever coming back to. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was basically a bed that pulls out of the wall but it is just attached to the wall. The colors and smell of the room were not appealing either. If I wouldn't have lost all of my money I would have went somewhere else. I also had trouble with there internet and was told to call a toll free number since they didn't handle it. The representatives were extremely rude there as well. Again, please do not stay here.
