  After reading reviews, I was very nervous about this last minute pick for a weekend when alternatives were booked. Bottom line: it was passable but not a place I'd choose if others were available. On the positive side: the linens and towels were bright and clean and the mattress was clean, too. The location is good --close by I-35 and adjacent to new restaurants etc. built for casino-bound travelers. Pool was nicest looking area in the place. Room had been cleaned but the overall impression was that a really thorough cleaning/paintingwas needed-- the quick once-over done on a daily basis couldn't address built-on window grime and flaking surface of tub. If you look at down-town Ardmore, the general "seen-better days" feeling of the motel is mirrored by much of the town (i.e. you're not going to find upscale around here)
