We were able to check in a little early, and check out late. Loved that they were so easy to work with. If you get an ocean front room, make sure it is on the third floor, as if you get any lower you get a great view of the pool. Also, very close to a number of our Kitty Hawk favorties. Room was nice, but there was a weird smell on the balcony, when the a/c was on. Very family friendly.

Location is conveneint..MP 7.5 Pool is on top of dune which blocks view of ocean except on top floor(3rd)
Breakfast is O K but not up to Comfort Inn's new menu(we were told,it's because it was "off Season"...DUH!! that should not be a reason
Business center(2 stations in lobby)..OK
Staff was good -

Staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. I had a Double Queen oceanfront room. The air conditioning stayed on constantly due to it's inability to cool the room sufficently. Both doors, entrance and the door to the patio were difficult to open, I can only guess this had to do with the salt and moisture that was ever present in the room. Breakfast was filling and the early check-in and late check-out was a nice perk.

Hotel room was musty and toilet was stopped up,. Was told by Night staff that if we wanted plunger to fix toilet the we had to go to desk and retreive it. Cleaning staff were very couteous, they would repeatedly know on our door, until spouse would decline service...ni do not disturb signs available. After the 3rd dayi she was nice enugh to phone room and ask.

The hotel is on the beach side of the road, a plus but the room was not very clean. Our room had several large stains on the carpet from water or some other liquid?? The bathroom left much to be desired in the way of cleanliness as well, as the walls were dirty and looked moldy. The room felt damp and just dirty. The air conditioner was very loud. All of this may be due to the fact this is an old hotel. Renovating may help. I would not spend the money on this hotel again.
