I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at the Comfort Inn in Anniston, AL. The location is very convenient albeit not the most quiet. Situated between a treatment plant and Wal-mart makes for a busy and sometimes unpleasant smelling environment. This of course is no fault of the Comfort Inn mangement/staff who were very friendly and eager to help. It is a small, but very well-kept facility and the rooms were so clean and nicely maintained it felt like we were their very first customers.

Cold Room

The room was cold and had a smell similar to peacheswhen we checked in. The clerk said that the smell was probably air freshener that the maids used but didn't know why the room was cold. We went out to eat and on return the same condition existed. I decided to turn off the a/c but found it already off. I opened the drapes and turned on the exhaust fan in the bath and set the a/c to fan only. The room never warmed up was bearable with the fans on.
