Staff was less than friendly upon check-in. After checking in, we learned that the ice machine was out-of-order! They had a sign that said if ice was needed, to go across the street to the Day's Inn!! It wasn't a joke! Hallway carpet was old & dingy, & there were no elevators to go to the 2nd floor. Room was okay, but the bed was very, very comfortable! The room was clean, but it had the old-style wall-mounted heater/A/C unit which kept shutting off even though I turned the A/C setting to the maximum. Breakfast was okay (selections were very limited), but the waffles were the only thing that we tried. Whirlpool was the best part of the hotel, & the pool was great (comfortable temp), also, although we had to ask for towels at the front desk because they had run out in the pool area. The side doors coming from the parking lot never did lock that night like they were supposed to. So much for security!
