We stayed here on our way to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport. We saved $100/night by choosing this hotel over our options in Shreveport. It was clean, the rooms had nice extras (microwave, iron & board, mini-fridge, big TV, big shower, wireless internet) even though the price was so low. The customer service was great; we arrived at 1:00AM, exhausted, and check-in literally took 30 seconds. The next day I went to sign a receipt for another day, and the desk clerk was so friendly. I will remember this little economy hotel fondly.

The lighting in the room had been modified so the only way to turn out the overhead light also prevented power from reaching the bedside lamps. The room was clean when we arrived but wasn't cleaned adequately while we were there. Fixtures were old and stained but carpet and linens were ok.

I smell smoke
08/03/2006We requested a non-smoking room,but the room clearly reeked of smoke.clerk asked us to try ionizer in room to help with stench -it did not help.carpet ...
We requested a non-smoking room,but the room clearly reeked of smoke.Clerk asked us to try ionizer in room to help with stench -it did not help.Carpet was torn and sticky.There was a hole (8x8 inches) in the wall exposing dusty interior plumbing pipes.We went to another motel.
