Room was up to date, clean and fresh. Appearently Marriott hotel group has been non-smoking for some time and it shows. Common areas were comfortable and clean as well. Exercise room was on the small side, but about the same seen at other hotels. Located just a bit from the hustle and bustle of MOA traffic was a plus for me.

I have stayed here several times and appreciate the consistency. It lives up to the Courtyard standard which is reasonable quality, cleanliness and affordability. That being said, there really aren't many frills but I don't think a Courtyard is where you would stay if you want to be pampered or get extra services. It is very close to the airport but away from the mall congestion. If you want a clean room to stay in close to the airport and central to all metro business districts, this hotel is ideal. If you want fancy meals, transportation service and other ammenities, you should stay elsewhere and be prepared to pay accordingly.

There were no telephone numbers at the airport for this hotel and it was not listed on the hotel board. I found a number for a Marriott in the area and was connected to Courtyard. It was the wrong Courtyard, which I was unaware of until reception could not find my reservation. When I finally arrived at the correct Courtyard, I was told the restaurant was not open but it would be the next evening. There are no restaurants in the area but the shuttle would take me somewhere and I would have to call to get a ride back. Not very convenient! The staff was friendly enough and the room was comfortable and clean.

In fairness, I don't know if planes always fly directly over this hotel, or if it was because of work being done on one of the airport runways... but there was no going back to sleep after 6:30am.
My only other complaint is that the lobby/breakfast area was WAY too air conditioned- it was freezing- and the theromstat was locked so the front desk couldn't adjust it.
Otherwise a great hotel for the money. Nice clean rooms with Wi-Fi included and very friendly staff. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. -

The hotel itself looked clean and neat, but I didn't feel like the stuff there was nice. When I checked in after tiring day, the clerk wasn't smiling, I just didn't get the good feeling. They do have a shuttle between the Mall and the hotel, but they don't have a shedule for it, which I didn't like. You are supposed to call when you want to go back. On my second day, the shuttle didn't pick me up for 40 minutes... they said they didn't see me... shuttle thing could be confusing... no fridge in the room and not enough TV channel, but room itself looked clean.
